Just hours ago, Behind the Voice published their latest podcast episode, featuring special guest Courtney Hope, aka Beth Wilder and Jesse Faden!
Throughout their forty-five-minute conversation, Abhi and Courtney talk about a range of topics from Jack and Beth's relationship, the weird world of motion capture, her role within the Remedy Connected Universe and, of course, her reaction to getting the lead role in a video game. Check out the full conversation below or on the Behind the Voice YouTube channel, HERE.
In 2016, Courtney Hope made her video game debut portraying Beth Wilder in Quantum Break, a Monarch-infiltrator. The 2016 title was split into two parts; a video game focusing on the heroes and a live-action show focusing on the villains. The complexities of her character led to Hope starring in both, bringing her talents both to traditional cameras and motion capture.
In case you missed it, over the past couple of years, Abhi has spoken to an array of Remedy actors and developers including Ilkka Villi (Alan Wake, Mr Scratch, Thomas Zane), David Harewood (Warlin Door), Matthew Porretta (Alan Wake, Dr Casper Darling, Mr Scratch) Christina Cole (Christina Cole) Janina Gavankar (FBC Agent Kieran Estevez), and recently Shawn Ashmore (Jack Joyce, Tim Breaker). He has also crossed into the development side, speaking to Sam Lake (Creative Director) Kyle Rowley (Game Director).
