Ready for more Jerry? Remedy has now published the second video in their Surviving The Workplace series, this time centred around the Hot Fix Job.
In the training video, we are once again joined by Jerry and his tiny army of puppets as he breaks down what Firebreakers need to know before jumping into the Job. The recording can be split into three parts; what the furnace is, how best to defend yourself against it, and what not to do.
Surviving the Workplace is a new six-part video series published on the Remedy YouTube channel. Centred around their latest launch, FBC: Firebreak, the series is hosted by the Operations bureaucrat Jerry Standish, whose training session takes the form of puppets. It's like a less intense Threshold Kids. You can catch up on the series, HERE.

Surviving the Workplace | Hot Fix (FBC: Firebreak) Transcript
Jerry Standish: In today's Firebreak Auxiliary Safety Training, or F.A.S.T. for short, will be cautiously stepping into the fascinating world of furnace safety. But first, three F.A.S.T. facts about the Furnace. F.A.S.T. fact number one. No one actually knows where the Furnace came from. F.A.S.T. fact number two, the Furnace may or may not speak to specific individuals under unknown circumstances. And F.A.S.T. fact number three, the Furnace is in a super bad mood, and has been for years.
Jerry Standish: Now then, let's join some actual Firebreakers down in the Maintenance Sector to watch what happens when they become faced with a real jobsite safety decision.
(The next scene shows three Firebreaker puppets near the furnace.)
Alex #1: Wow, sure is hot down here. Good thing we cooled off in the shower before heading into the Furnace chamber. Don't you think, Alex?
Alex #2: You’re dang right, Alex. And, hey, speaking of the Furnace, things are starting to look a bit purple in here. We better get to cover. Come on, Alex. You too, Dave.
(All three puppets duck behind a standing support to protect themselves from the flames)
Jerry Standish: Whew! Great work, Alexes. After sensing danger, you were able to protect yourselves from injury and protect our employer from unnecessary medical expenditures. Now, what do you say we watch that scene again? Only this time, with Dave in charge.
Dave: Ooh! My boots are filled with water. Dumb decontamination shower. I hate it! Wow, it's the Furnace!
Alex #1: We should get to cover.
Dave: You two can hide like babies if you want, but I want to dry up. And this purple light feels nice and warm. Kind of like the expensive tanning bed my parents bought me for my 16th birthday.
(Both Alexes take cover behind the protective barrier. Dave gets closer to the flames.)
Alex #2: Hey, Dave, I really don't think that's a good-
Dave: Arrrrghhhh!
(Tiny little paper flames appear on Dave as be backs away.)
Jerry Standish: Tut tut tut. And so easily avoided, too. So remember, everyone, when jobsite danger calls be an Alex, not a Dave!
