In keeping with a trend started with the first Control, Remedy has shared the first character profile for CONTROL Resonant! For the debut, we see the return of Simon Arish, played by Ronan Summers.
Alongside the video, Remedy writes, "As Security Chief of the FBC, Simon Arish will do whatever it takes to protect his fellow FBC agents and to save the people of Manhattan from the FBC's biggest crisis yet. Even if it means working with Dylan Faden."
CONTROL Resonant previews show Arish's character perhaps buckling under the weight of the past seven years in lockdown, and the internal fight that the battle might have been for nothing. Added to that a certain disdain for Dylan Faden, whom he blames, if not for the entirety of what happened, definitely a large part of it.
Arish's character profile reads, "Simon Arish. Wry, unflappable and altruistic, Security Chief Simon Arish is an unshakable part of the FBC's backbone. His coolness under pressure has saved lives countless times, and he has no intention of bucking the trend during the Manhattan AWE. Arish is still grappling with an immense amount of guilt and grief over the colleagues he lost during the Hiss invasion of 2029, and has channelled this into mistrust for Dylan. To save Manhattan and prevent further FBC casualties. Arish will have to work with the man he blames for his greatest failure."
CONTROL Resonant is set to launch on September 24th 2026, available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
