Held at the Level Infinite sector, CONTROL Resonant's Gamescom display was definitely a sight to behold. In addition to a section dedicated to its first publicly playable demo, there was a photo area featuring actors and a life-sized Aberrant. But that's not all! Visitors were greeted by a scene straight out of the game with a New York taxi partially engulfed in mold, and an electric traffic sign warning event goers not to eat it, no matter how tempting and fuzzy it looks.
The reception to the game has been incredibly positive, with Level Infinite showcasing the long queues of eager players. Visitors reported lines of up to six hours for the game.
Plus, there was another event. For lucky fans who were quick to book their tickets, there was also a community meetup at Die Kunstbar on Friday.
For those who were able to attend, we hope you had a fabulous time (and hope you brought a book for the queue). For the rest of us, we were living vicariously through the posts on social media...
