In two weeks, Behind the Voice will go live with its debut awards ceremony, the GameFest Game Awards 2024!
The evening is an opportunity to celebrate the successes within the games industry, while also raising money for charity. Hosted by Abhi Jha, the event already teases a star-studded cast, including Jane Perry, Brian Shea, Julie Elven, and Ash Millman. For Remedy fans, there's an added treat as Alan Wake actors Ilkka Villi and Matthew Porretta will also be in virtual attendance at the show.
With the shortlist finalised, viewers can vote on the titles they would like to see win. The polls are currently open and are set to close on November 24th, so if you haven't already, make sure you get your votes in!
The winners will be announced during the GameFest Game Awards 2024 on December 3rd, via the Behind the Voice YouTube channel.
All the money from the evening will go to Stand Up To Cancer, an international non-profit charity dedicated to help accelerate groundbreaking cancer research and treatments. Founded in the US in 2008, the organisation describes itself as an Entertainment Industry Foundation initiative, using entertainment and programming to help raise money and awareness with the goal of funding potentially life-saving trials.
