There are places in our world where fiction and dreams can come true.

Children of the Elder God

Children of the Elder God is one of two custom songs created for Alan Wake by Poets of the Fall. The track can be heard during episode four while Wake defeats the Taken on the Old Gods of Asgard stage.

At the present time, with the removal of the band's Digistore, there is not a place where you can buy the song. I'll keep this page updated if this changes! However if you wish to listen to the song again you can through the game menu system; the song is located under "Playback", or listen to it HERE.

Lyrics

Warriors, torchbearers, come redeem our dreams.
Shine a light upon this night of otherwordly fiends.
Odin's might be your guide, divorce you from the sane.
Hammer's way will have its say, rise up in their name, yeah.

Memory and Thought,
Jet black and clawed.
Oh, Children of the Elder God.
(Children of the Elder God)
Oh, Scourge of light upon the dark.
(Scourge of light upon the dark.)

Scratching hag, rake your claws, and gnash your crooked teeth
You've taken slaves, like ocean waves, now feel the ocean seethe
Father Thor, bless this war between the dark and light
In their songs let their wrongs bring dissolution's night.

Memory and Thought
Jet black and clawed.
Oh, Children of the Elder God.
(Children of the Elder God)
Oh, Scourge of light upon the dark.
(Scourge of light upon the dark.)

-- Main Guitar Solo --

Oh, Memory and Thought
Jet black and clawed.

-- Guitar Solo --

Oh, Children of the Elder God.
(Children of the Elder God)
Oh, Scourge of light upon the dark.
(Scourge of light upon the dark.)
Oh, Children of the Elder God.
(Children of the Elder God)

Oh yeah!
