At the Summer Games Fest 2026 livestream, Remedy revealed a different side to CONTROL Resonant with their Paranatural Manhattan Trailer.
While previous trailers have explored the game's unusual beauty amid the chaos, this latest teaser focuses on its horror elements. The clips show the broken remains of the Federal Bureau of Control and inhuman, twisted creatures stalking the Manhattan streets. While Dylan is shown battling back the horrors, the threat feels too big to be tackled alone.
The darker edge is further emphasised and perfectly captured in its voice-over. The trailer is narrated by Emily Pope, her voice heavy with a sense of loss and exhaustion, as she reveals the changes over the years, "It’s been seven years. The Oldest House has... fallen. Our Director... Jesse. Well, she’s... missing. Everything we tried to contain is now loose in the streets of Manhattan. This was caused by a new type of hostile resonance. It’s beyond anything that we can currently measure. Our reality is bent to follow an anomalous pattern, warping time. Gravity. Light. Even the way we think. It’s all quite terrifying... and fascinating. All we can do is dig deeper. Keep searching for the solutions in every way we can. Before it’s too late.
