Julius Fondem Breaks Down FBC: Firebreak Crisis Kits in New Steam Blog Post

In a new blog post for Steam, Remedy's Community Manager, Julius Fondem, takes a closer look at FBC: Firebreak's vital Crisis Kits.

It marks the second week of blog posts hosted on Steam from the developers. Last week, we heard from Mike Kayatta (Game Director on FBC: Firebreak) as he broke down what the team has been working on the final stretch of development from bug fixes to reworking perks, and the results of the recent tech playtest.

If you've been following all the FBC: Firebreak updates, the post won't reveal too many new details, but it's brilliant as a self-contained reference for each kit and how best to use them.

In his blog post, Julius describes that, "Before delving into the depths of the Oldest House, every Firebreaker selects one of three Crisis Kits. They are pre-configured loadouts tailored to how you want to complete objectives, support your team, and survive the next hostile anomaly. The kits are built from the ground up to suit specific roles in the field and come with their own specialized equipment: a Tool, an Improvised Device, and an Altered Augment - our take on a powered-up “ultimate.” Weapons, grenades, and perks aren’t tied to any kit, so you’re free to pair them however you like to suit your playstyle. Let’s break down each Crisis Kit and what it brings to the fight against the Hiss."
