Today, Sony has kicked off their new Days of Play event, with discounts across a huge range of titles, including the Alan Wake series and Control.
If you own a PS4 or PS5, but haven't picked up those adventures yet, you may want to check them out!
At present, the Control Ultimate Edition is a hefty -85% off, the cheapest that we've seen the adventure, and available for both PS4 and PS5. The bundle is packed with a ton of exciting content including both story expansion packs (The Foundation and AWE), and all previous updates; The Expeditions mission, Photo Mode, Assist Mode, and the ability to replay boss fights through the SHÜM arcade machines. With both FBC: Firebreak coming out next month, and development underway on the sequel, it's a gtreat time to try it first hand if you haven't already.
But that's not all! With Days of Play, PlayStation owners are also able to buy both main-story Alan Wake adventures as part of the sale.
Alan Wake Remastered is available at an incredible -85%, again possibly the lowest we've seen the title go for. Similar to Control Ultimate Edition, Alan Wake Remastered is deceptive in how much content is packed in, with story expansion packs, and various developers commentaries included for you nerds out there.
When it comes to the sequel, Alan Wake 2 Deluxe Edition has been reduced in price by -60%. In addition to the base game, it comes with a number of cosmetic and gameplay additions, including the Crimson Windbreaker for Saga and a Lantern Charm. The bundle naturally comes with story expansions; Night Springs and The Lake House. The former is a cheery, wholesome bundle. The latter GETS DARK, MAN.
Days of Play is a digital event hosted by PlayStation which mixes sales with in-game events and competitions. This time around, Sony has a range of game and hardware sales, alongside new additions coming to the Plus membership catalogue. Some of those new additions are just for June (NBA 2K25, Alone in the Dark 2024, Bomb Rush Cyberfunk, and Destiny 2: The Final Shape) with more titles added to the general game catalogue (Another Crab's Treasure, Skull and Bones, Destiny 2: Legacy Collection, Grand Theft Auto III - The Definitive Edition, Myst and Riven). Until June 11th, there are also a number of trials and digital giveaways to test the most experienced players. Check out the full details on the PlayStation Blog, HERE!
