The Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences has announced the finalists for the 27th Annual D.I.C.E Awards, with Alan Wake 2 nominated across eight fantastic categories.
The ceremony will take place on Thursday, February 15th, 2024, at the Aria Resort in Las Vegas and will be broadcast live via IGN. The show will be co-hosted by Greg Miller (Kinda Funny Games) and Stella Chung (IGN). A total of 56 games have made it to the final round, with Marvel's Spider-Man 2, Alan Wake 2, Baldur's Gate 3, and COCOON leading the nominations total.

For Outstanding Achievement in Art Direction, the finalists include Alan Wake 2, Hogwarts Legacy, Marvel's Spider-Man 2, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, and Starfield.
In Outstanding Achievement in Character, there's Saga Anderson (Alan Wake 2), Astarion (Baldur's Gate 3), Karlach (Baldur's Gate 3), Miles Morales (Marvel's Spider-Man 2), and Jala (Thirsty Suitors).
Celebrating music, the Outstanding Achievement in Original Music Composition category features Alan Wake 2, Diablo IV, Marvel's Spiderman 2, Planet of Lana, and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.
For Outstanding Achievement in Audio Design, there is Alan Wake 2, COCOON, Hi-Fi RUSH, Marvel's Spider-Man 2, and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.
Narrative means everything in a game, and for Outstanding Achievement in Story, the judges selected Alan Wake 2, Baldur's Gate 3, DAVE THE DIVER, Thirsty Suitors, and Venba.
In Outstanding Technical Achievement, we have Alan Wake 2, Marvel's Spider-Man 2, Hogwarts Legacy, THE FINALS, and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
In Adventure Game of the Year, Alan Wake 2 is up against COCOON, DAVE THE DIVER, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
Finally, we have one of the biggest categories, Game of the Year, with Alan Wake 2, Baldur's Gate 3, COCOON, Marvel's Spider-Man 2, and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
