Control Ultimate Edition Now Out On Google Stadia

Control Ultimate Edition is now available through Google Stadia!

Initially teased on the Stadia Blog back in late May, Control launched on the platform just a few days ago on July 27th, coinciding with the release of Marvel's Avengers and Olympic Games Tokyo 2020: The Official Video Game

Control Ultimate Edition contains the full experience; players will be able to explore the base game from start to finish, and then jump on board both DLC packs, try out the photomode, or challenge themselves with Expeditions. The title is now available to buy via the Stadia Store for $39.99.

Google Stadia is a new platform that allows players to stream their favourite games. Along with its standard service, there's also a Pro subscription service, similar to Netlix but for games, which gives players access to an extensive library in return for a monthly price, although the Control Ultimate Edition is not featured in this package yet. With a potential 60fps frame rate, 4K resolution, HDR support, and 5.1 surround sound, depending on your network speed, the Google Stadia is an interesting glimpse into the future of streaming previously paved by consoles such as Onlive. Last September, Google Stadia's closest rival, Amazon Luna, kickstarted their promotional campaign following the service's reveal, with Control very much in the spotlight.
