With CONTROL Resonant just days away, actor Ronan Summers has announced that he will be kicking off his new Twitch channel with a special playthrough of the game.
In the Control series, Summers plays Security Chief Simon Arish. In Resonant, the developers have teased how the weight and guilt over his role have toughened out his character since lockdown was first implemented seven years ago. While welcoming Jesse, Arish's attitude toward Dylan is far more antagonistic and suspicious.
Sharing the news in a video on social media, Summers introduces the new Twitch channel, declaring, "Stop what you are doing. Do not scroll any further. My name is Ronan Summers, and even though you might not know my name, you've probably been listening to my voice in some of your favourite games for, like, the last fifteen/twenty years. We are talking the entire Forza Horizon series, Battlefield, Dead Island 2, Cyberpunk 2077, League of Legends, Control, and of course, CONTROL Resonant, which drops on September 24. So make sure you pre-order that now. Now, I have been going absolutely crazy about CONTROL Resonant on my socials in general recently, which has led to a phenomenal development."
He continues, "I have somehow managed to get my hands on an actual legit sponsor who is going to hook me up with top-of-the-line PC gear, which is going to allow me to play through my entire back catalogue of games from way back when to right up to now, starting with the very exciting launch of CONTROL Resonant. I've got my game key. They're coming over to put the stuff in my house very soon. We've got tons of cool plans for the channel. We're going to have guests coming in and playing their own games. And I mean famous guests, I've been talking to some people. And we're going to be doing, of course, new drops when I have new games coming out, which I do, very, very often."
At the moment, there isn't a fixed date or time for the livestream, though at the end of the video he encourages viewers to follow him on Instagram, TikTok, and Twitch to be alerted when those initial details are available.
