Is there a CONTROL Resonant ARG? Well, the UKRC seems to think so!
In December 2018, Remedy kicked off their ARG (alternate reality game) as they paved the way to Control's launch. The four-month campaign was hosted on the official Control Discord server and was centred around three hexagonal symbols. These symbols revealed a secret code, with the mystery culminating in exclusive access to a restricted section of the game's website. The prize for breaking through was an in-game video of Casper Darling and bragging credits (Data Breach) within the world of Control.
Well, those crazy kids might be at it again!
In a mighty thirty-nine-page (at present time!) document, Zdots and UKRC members have scoured the Control Discord, and found a mysterious poster by the name of Chess Trebles
Their document introduction reads, "On August 27th, A user named @ChessTrebles Joined the Official Remedy Entertainment Discord. They immediately posted a very off introduction & First message within the #Control-Resonant Channel, raising suspicion. Their accounts have all been made at a similar time and similar hour, and all of their social media handles, aside from Discord, feature a keyword within them."
Each social media features a keyword and a mysterious selection of images, kindling speculation. We highly recommend you check out the document and join the UKRC channel to participate in the discussions. The UKRC are masters of nerdiness, and they are being beautifully on brand.
