At the end of the month, Remedy Entertainment will be heading to Gamescom latam in São Paulo, Brazil, for a special CONTROL Resonant event.
The programme will kick off on May 1st with a fireside chat featuring Remedy's Creative Director, Mikael Kasurinen. Mikael will be taking to the stage at 5pm BRT (4pm ET / 9pm BST / 11pm EEST) to discuss Remedy's upcoming adventure and Dylan's debut outing. If you can't make it to the event, no worries, the organisers will also be streaming the talk live on their YouTube and Twitch channels. (We'll also remind you on our social media channels closer to the time.)
The organisers have teased that the fireside chat will reveal new details about the highly anticipated game and delve into its concept, setting, and development process. Following the fireside chat, the first of two fan meet-and-greets will be held, with the second scheduled for Saturday, May 2nd.
But that's not all! If you remember the public Quantum Break or Control Gamescom events, you may recall there being a special photo area. For Quantum Break, it was a VR section which overimposed a boat crashing through the wall, mirroring its debut trailer. For Control, it was a section with promotional artwork amid sparse woodland trees, illuminated by atmospheric lighting. At Gamescom latma, Remedy is bringing back its photo area across all exhibition days.
Gamescom latam will be held from April 30th to May 3rd at the Distrito Anhembi in São Paulo, Brazil. You can grab tickets (Friday recommended) on the official site, HERE. For those flying in, the event is situated right next to the Campo de Marte Airport.
