To celebrate Remedy's 30th anniversary, a final batch of Alan Wake 2 Oh Deer Diner Thermoses ($ 39.99) created by Airam, have now been released on iam8bit.
The thermoses have been a huge hit with the community since they were launched back in September 2023, however getting your hands on them can be a bit of a minefield. While easily available in Finland, if you lived abroad, your luck depended on limited runs through iam8bit, Amazon, and VPD as well as at conventions and press events. The highly-sort out collectible tends to sell out quickly, appealing to both new and old fans.
For the release, iam8bit are bringing in stricture security measures to ensure that genuine fans are purchasing the thermos and not scalpers.
As a result, the thermoses will be limited to one per customer, with each order manually reviewed. Customers who attempt to get around the order limit, "will have their orders CANCELLED". Alongside the manual checks, iam8bit will be using real-time fraud analysis to detect bots. None of this should be a worry to legitimate buyers, but the order limitation may impact you if you were hoping to buy a second for a friend.
Another thing to bear in mind is the company's replacement policy for the item. As units are limited, iam8bit has stated on the product page that, "Please be aware that while iam8bit has taken efforts to ensure that your thermos product is undamaged, some boxes may not arrive in mint condition. Due to the limited nature of this product, we will not be able to provide replacement boxes on ANY Alan Wake 2 Thermos purchases."

About the Oh Deer Diner Thermos. The thermoses were handed out prior to their official launch to influencers and the press during the behind-closed-door previews for Alan Wake 2 but were made publically available in early October 2023. The original run was made available domestically in Finland via select supermarkets and online at VPD.
For the piece, Remedy teamed up with local specialists Airam, who is backed by almost a century of knowledge in rugged and quality thermos design. Established in the 1920s, the company originally focused on lighting but branched into the creation of the now-iconic red thermos bottles a decade later with the formation of their Punavuori-based glass factory. Although a household name, the partnership marks its first brand crossover.
The limited edition Oh Deer Diner thermos was part of the launch celebrations for Alan Wake 2. The recreated thermos features a shiny, bright white top and base, along with the recognizable pastel blue. The cafe's logo is prominently featured on the outside. For the piece, Airam is using its traditional 0.45-litre bottle with a high-quality glass interior.
