24th June 2025 UK Remedyverse Community Celebrates First Anniversary [In-Person Meet Up at SunnyCon 2025]

We have some community news to kickstart the week. Today, the wonderful UK Remedyverse Community (UKRC) is celebrating it's first anniversary!

Last June, Taffy (@catastrotaffy), Astor (@asteridae) and Madame Purple (@tinypurplepsycho) teamed up to create a brilliant new group centred around UK-based fandom. Together they have created events both online and in-person to bring the community together; from Secret Santa giveaways to meet ups in the UK and abroad. It's weird that it's only been a year, as their enthusiasm and kindness already feels like a fundamental pillar of support in the community.

On Saturday (June 28th), the group are meeting in person at SunnyCon 2025 in Newcastle for a special birthday celebration. We are told that there will be cake! You can find them at noon by the Milburn Steps. If you want to join the Discord community ahead of their gathering, click HERE.
