With the launch date drawing ever closer, Nvidia has uploaded a new trailer for FBC: Firebreak, showcasing the game's full ray tracing and DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation and Ray Reconstruction.
The seventy-second video provides a glimpse at some of the upcoming scenes, from burning red-hot fans to sticky note-covered workstations, barnacle-covered pillars and breathing organic clusters pressing up against the machinery. While the technical requirements are promised to be less intense than Alan Wake 2 for those playing on PC, the showcase reveals the gruesome nature of the Hiss invasion in FBC: Firebreak, carrying on the tradition from Control.
The trailer also shows direct scene comparisons, bringing a sweeping before-and-after line across gameplay footage to show the improvements with RTX enabled. On top of that, the video, while brief, also explores the frames-per-second count, which is estimated at 40 FPS before RTX and around 270 FPS after.
