Clay Murphy & Kyle Rowley Shares Their Gaming Memories with GamesRadar+

For Valentine's Day, GamesRadar+ asked thirteen developers from studios across the world to share the video games that led them to fall in love with gaming.

For Remedy fans, there are two familiar names included on the list; Clay Murphy (Principle Writer at Remedy) and Kyle Rowley (Game Director on Alan Wake 2), both of whom chose very solid submissions for the list.

In his introduction, author Josh West (UK Managing Editor) describes "We have a tendency to always look forward when thinking about video games – what's new, and what's next? But it's all too easy to forget that the developers who are striving to break boundaries today are often driven by experiences from their past – video games that left an indelible mark."

Clay and Kyle were joined by fellow developers Anna Hollinrake (Creative Director, Electric Saint), Abubakar Salim (CEO, Surgent Studios), Caroline Marchal (Creative Director, Interior/Night), Chantal Ryan (Game Director, We Have Always Lived In The Forest), Dinga Bakaba (Studio Director, Arkane Lyon), Emily Gera (Senior Writer, Larian Studios) Jordan Woodward (Head of Design, Rebellion), Nina Freeman (Narrative Designer), Sam Barlow (Game Director, Half Mermaid), Sitara Shefta (Head of Studio, No Bakes Games), and Xalavier Nelson Jr (Studio Head, Strange Scaffold).
