28th September 2020 Watch Remedy's Narrative Broadcast (Control) Here! [With Brooke Maggs and Clay Murphy]

Remedy kicked off their Autumn livestreams last week, starting with a closer look at Control's and AWE's story! 

The studio's Community Manager Vida Starčević was joined on the day by Clay Murphy (now Senior Writer at Remedy) and Brooke Maggs (now Senior Narrative Designer) in a seventy-minute-long segment. 

Ahead of their broadcast, the studio asked the community to submit questions to put to the game's narrative team. Accompanying their discussion, the developers played a section of the newly launched AWE DLC pack which both guests had an important part in shaping.

At the start of the year, developers at the studio made the move to work from home, as part of the international effort to reduce the spread of Covid-19. The precautions also extended to the studio's livestreams, with developers calling in remotely from home to answer fan questions.

"Story in Control! Let's play AWE and chat with the writer and narrative designer!" marks the first of three broadcasts scheduled for the season. 

The second stream will be taking place on October 1st (5pm BST / 7pm EEST / 9am PT) and will be tackling the "Audio in Control". While the guests for the broadcast haven't been announced, the most likely candidates are Sam Hughes and Juha Vainio.

For the final livestream of the season, the developers are shifting things up with a look back, "Quantum Break: Back In Time". The guests likely to be appearing are Thomas Hudson (former Senior Designer) and Elmeri Raitanen (former Lead VFX Artist).
