Following its reveal just a couple of months ago at E3 2018, Control has started to conquer the covers of gaming magazines, with another two revealing Jesse on the cover in the past month.
- At the end of July, Croatian gaming magazine, Reboot, published a double edition (issues 53/54) showcasing four games across four different covers; Control, Cyberpunk 2077, Fallout 76, and Alaloth: Champions of The Four Kingdoms. All the games featured on the cover have features inside detailing demos showed to the writers from E3 2018.

- Finnish gaming magazine, Pelit's latest issue is another magazine featuring Remedy's upcoming title. For their cover, they've done something different to other publications, using an official screenshot as their main image. The magazine is currently on sale now for 7,90€.
