Poets of the Fall and Remedy share a long history which dates back to the Max Payne series. In late 2009, it was announced that the band would be working again with the developers on their brand new IP, Alan Wake.
The band appears both as themselves as well as their fictional alter ego, Old Gods of Asgard. Through their ingame bad, they created the songs The Poet and the Muse and Children of the Elder God, both can be heard in the levels. But they also appeared in person on television during the Harry Garrett show, as well as having War (from their album, Twilight Theater) played on the radio, both credit their real name.
