Today marks the third anniversary of Alan Wake 2's launch! After thirteen years, players were able to step back into Bright Falls as FBI Agent Saga Anderson on a new case centred around a ritualistic killing. Her investigation takes a weirder turn, leading her to be embroiled in the disappearance of bestselling writer Alan Wake. The experience was split into two stories: Anderson's investigation and Wake's journey through The Dark Place.
The ambitious project was a masterpiece, receiving positive reviews from critics and players, taking home trophies at The Game Awards 2023, Game Developers Choice Awards 2024, BAFTA Games Awards 2023, and Golden Joystick Awards 2023.
To celebrate the milestone, Remedy has posted a two-minute-long blooper reel, showing some of the weird bugs that popped up during the game's development. A sequel of sorts to Quantum Break's Making Games Is Hard video.
That wasn't all! Ilkka Villi, whose incredible acting skills were displayed across four different roles, spanning both live-action and in-game, also took part in the celebrations! He shared some photographs on Instagram from his time on the project...
