While CONTROL Resonant has been dominating the headlines in recent months, today there's a surprise Alan Wake 2 update!
While the 1.2.10 update primarily focuses on support for FSR 4, it also includes additional bug fixes that will improve the experience for console owners. So it's definitely worth checking out that you're playing the latest version before jumping in.
For PC owners, there are a bunch of hefty improvements with very fancy names, but in short, the game should run more smoothly and look a little fancier. Recently, AMD renamed FSR 4 to FSR Upscaling "to better distinguish between the various features that now make up FSR Redstone". Remedy does a good job in their patch notes of informing PC players about the new upgrades and how to enable them, but if you're looking for more information online, make sure you search for the new name.
Check out the patch notes below:
PlayStation 5 (1.200.009)
