Remedy Publishes Official CONTROL Resonant Dylan Faden Cosplay Guide

If you're looking for your next cosplay project, Remedy has your back. As launch day for CONTROL Resonant edges closer, the studio has published a new cosplay guide centred around their new lead, Dylan Faden.

Posted alongside the cosplay guide, the studio writes, "Introducing the official Dylan Faden cosplay guide! As con season is upon us, it's the perfect time for us to give the official Dylan Faden cosplay guide to all of you hardworking and talented cosplayers. Share your Dylan cosplays with us!"

While the outfits for their protagonists have matched that story theme of an everyday hero launched into an otherworldly situation, Dylan is very much a combo breaker. Alan's grey tweed coat or Jack's canvas shoes, isn't quite the style they're looking for. Instead, Dylan's look is practical with elements of the FBC's eccentricity mixed in.

Alongside a greyish blue raincoat is a specially made "Mobile Containment Device" with an assortment of reassuring labels, including "explosive". And if you feel like you've got a grip on what the Bureau Rain Gear looks like, there's the added complexity of the Surplus Sensor Platform Suit underneath. It's not an easy cosplay to recreate, but it's the perfect way to show off your skills or learn some new ones.

Dylan's outfit isn't the first official cosplay guide that Remedy has shared, with Alan Wake and Saga Anderson receiving similar treatment back in 2023.

Remedy Reveals Playable CONTROL Resonant Demo at gamescom & Community Meet Up

Today, Remedy announced that they will be bringing CONTROL Resonant to gamescom next month, with a playable demo lined up and a community meet-up scheduled!

For 2026, Gamescom will be returning to Koelnmesse between August 26th and 30th. The five-day event is one of the biggest dates on the video games calendar, with studios showcasing their upcoming adventures, revealing new projects and providing players with exclusive hands-on demos of their next big thing. While the event is always a great time for attendees, you don't need to travel to Cologne to be part of the action, as a big part of Gamescom also takes place in online spaces. Kicking off the festivities is the Gamescom Opening Night Live 2026 livestreamed via Twitch and YouTube on August 25th at 8pm CEST / 7pm BST / 9pm EEST.

But for those who attend, there will be plenty of Remedy goodness...

So far, CONTROL Resonant has only been available to play behind closed doors at press events, but that's soon to change! The game will have a playable demo on the show floor in Hall 6, Level Infinite Booth. You will be able to check out the game at any time throughout the show.

While a ticket to the event is required to access the showfloor, the community event will be open to all. On the subject of the gathering, the studio has posted, "Join us on August 28 in Cologne, Germany, and meet CONTROL Resonant team members and other Remedy fans, all while enjoying some delicious snacks and drinks! Sign up for the community event will open soon. Note that the event is for people aged 18 and up." We'll keep you updated for when registration goes live!

San Diego Comic Con 2026 Wrap-Up
[IGN SDCC Live Interview, Photos, and Social Media Coverage]

While work continues on CONTROL Resonant, across the ocean, the game's cast, along with key developers, attended San Diego Comic Con as marketing builds up towards launch.

While the main event of the weekend was the CONTROL Resonant panel featuring Sean Durrie (Dylan Faden), Courtney Hope (Jesse Faden), Frankie Kevich (Zoe de Vera) and Matthew Porretta (Casper Darling), there was plenty surrounding it, too. Remedy's Senior Community Manager, Vida, has reassured fans on the studio's Discord server that a recording of the panel will be available soon. Once it is, we'll let you all know and update our wrap-up, but in the meantime, there's still SO MUCH to go through...

IGN SDCC Live Show 2026 To Feature CONTROL Resonant [Day 2, Show Starts Saturday 26th at 10pm BST]

Later today, Sean Durrie (Dylan Faden), Courtney Hope (Jesse Faden), Frankie Kevich (Zoe de Vera) and Matthew Porretta (Casper Darling) will take to the stage for the CONTROL Resonant panel at San Diego Comic Con. But that's not the only place to find news about the upcoming adventure...

IGN is hosting a live show, with CONTROL Resonant scheduled to feature on Day 2. Depending on where you live, it will either be airing Saturday 25th evening or Sunday 26th morning. (The Americans are at it with their time zones again!)

While we don't know exactly what we can expect to find, IGN teases that their show "will feature exclusive reveals, interviews, surprises, and much more." On Day 2, they will cover The Walking Dead, The Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, Dungeon Crawler Carl, Mayday, and CONTROL Resonant

Check out their YouTube or Twitch channel starting at  2pm PT / 9pm GMT / 10pm BST / 12am EEST.

Update: Time zones are weird, and there were some crossed wires when IGN posted the UK time. Originally, they had it down for 9pm BST, but they actually meant 9pm GMT. You haven't missed anything if you wrote this time down like we had, with events kicking off an hour later at 10pm BST.
