Remedy has published its fifth and final character profile for CONTROL Resonant ahead of its launch on Thursday. This time, the series' antagonist-turned-hero, Dylan Faden, is in the spotlight, portrayed by the ever-brilliant Sean Durrie.
The profile comes with the caption, "After years in confinement at the hands of the Federal Bureau of Control, Dylan Faden emerges into a warped Manhattan at the peak of a paranatural crisis. Can Dylan save Manhattan and find his missing sister?"
Dylan's character development is set to be an exciting one, as the game will explore his journey to reclaim his life and his humanity. After almost a lifetime within the walls of The Oldest House, we're interested to learn how he will adapt to life outside. As the reverse of Jesse's journey, players see the world reimagined by the Patterning through Dylan's fresh eyes, providing the perfect jump in point for new fans.
His official profile reads, "Dylan has been a prisoner for as long as he can remember. First of the FBC, then the paranautral entity known as the Hiss, and finally his own comatose mind. A lifetime of being pricked, prodded, and used has left Dylan deeply wounded and mistrustful, but he will have to come to terms with his own pain if he is going to find his sister Jesse and show the world he's not the monster they think he is."
