Critical Role will be getting a CONTROL-themed twist on September 22nd, with a special one-shot created to mark the upcoming release of Resonant.
The one-shot will feature Marisha Ray, Travis Willingham, Sam Riegel, alongside Dylan Faden himself, Sean Durrie. Stepping up to the role of Game Master is Zachery Renauldo, who will be debuting his mastery skills for the channel with this standalone adventure. Viewers can expect a fresh experience, created specially for the scenario, and sponsored by Remedy Entertainment.
Perhaps best known for their elaborate and long-running campaigns, Critical Role has also done dozens of one-shots over the years. While details on the upcoming Control livestream are limited, previous recordings have lasted between two and five hours. So, make sure to buy your coffee in bulk before Tuesday.
With 2.8m subscribers on YouTube, Critical Role is perhaps the most established roleplaying game channels online. It started back in 2012 as a way of uniting friends and has evolved into something much bigger, branching out into various campaigns and beyond the channel. Their stories have transformed into an animated series and comic books, and have helped raise money for the Critical Role Foundation, a charity organisation that supports international charities.
