The Steam Summer Sale is coming to an end, but there's still time to nab a last-minute deal. For the event, Remedy's full catalogue on the platform has been discounted, so if there's a title you've been waiting for, make sure to take a look before 10am PT on July 9th.

If you haven't yet played Control, there's still time to jump in before the sequel's launch in September. While you don't have to have played the original to join Resonant, there's bound to be more for players who are familiar with Jesse's side of the story. Plus, there's nothing quite like stepping into Ashtray Maze for the first time.
At The Sudden Stop, our first love was Alan Wake, so we are also incredibly biased with that series. While Alan Wake Remastered is only available on the Epic Store, the original 2010 adventure and its spin-off, Alan Wake's American Nightmare, are on Steam, and for less than £3. I've been seeing it advertised on TikTok and Instagram as a cosy spooky story, and while it's officially a "psychological action thriller", there is something oddly warm and fuzzy about it. Remedy's latest title, FBC: Firebreak is also on sale. The game allows you to team up with two friends and take on the bizarre routine jobs tasked to the Firebreakers, from calming down a furnace to super soaking a sentient sticky note monster. It's weird, wonderful, and absolutely insane.
And finally, Remedy are currently working on remakes of the first two Max Payne games. If you're interested in checking out the original adventures ahead of time for a comparison, now is a great time to travel back. That series was the studio's defining step into the kind of video games that would become their identity.
