If you haven't collected your Twitch Hotline badge yet, the deadline has now been extended!
Remedy is taking part in this year's Twitch Summer Drop Fest, in celebration of the new reprint run of Control Ultimate Edition on PS5. Viewers can collect a Hotline badge (visible next to their name on chat) by purchasing a recurring or new subscription to any eligible channel streaming Control Ultimate Edition.
While the campaign officially kicked off on July 10th, viewers encountered some issues when trying to redeem the icon. With a fix rolling out, Twitch is now working to get the reward unlocked retroactively.
The news was posted on the Control social media channels, and by Julius Fondem (Community Manager) on the official Discord server. "The issue with The Hotline Twitch badge has now been fixed! You can now earn the badge by purchasing one new or recurring sub to any eligible channel streaming CONTROL Ultimate Edition. We're also working with Twitch to ensure that anyone who was eligible to earn the badge while the issue was present gets it retroactively. Lastly, we've increased the duration of the campaign until the end of July 20th. Thank you for your patience!"
