To mark the new month, Remedy is back with their annual April Fools' Day post, but this year it's double trouble, with one shared to the Alan Wake 2 community and one for CONTROL Resoannt.
On the Alan Wake social media channels, Remedy teased that the game would receive Finnish localisation due to community demand. The post reads, "You spoke. And we listened. For the first time ever, Alan Wake 2 is getting fully localized into Finnish! This very real update is absolutely for sure coming out on April 31st, which is a very real date! Ei muuta ku onwards said the granny in the snow!"
The reveal was paired with a gameplay snippet. In the video, they show the newly dubbed version of Wake and Casey encountering each other within the labyrinthine alleyways in the Dark Place. You know the one.
For the post, Remedy's Community Manager, Julius Fondem, provided the voices. Elegantly stepping into the shoes of both the baffled writer and the gruff NYPD officer. Comments on the post range from suspicion that Finland actually exists (valid) to interest in the joke being brought to life (also valid).

For the CONTROL Resonant social media channels, things get a lot more abstract, leaving fans wondering how much truth is behind the post. This time, the setup is simple. It's a release date... of sorts. The image shows a small pile of five (seemingly glowing) dates behind a jail cell, with the accompanying caption, "Mmmm... release date..."
