This weekend, to celebrate the launch of FBC: Firebreak's Major Update, Rogue Protocol, Remedy is hosting a special in-game event in which XP will be doubled.
That's not all, though! If you own a gaming PC but have yet to explore FBC Firebreak, the adventure is currently free to play on Steam until Monday, 26th January at 9pm GMT (11pm EET). Though it can be played solo, the game is designed with a team of three in mind, so if you have someone who might like a venture into The Oldest House, now is the perfect time to recruit.
The studio kicked off the special weekend with a developer livestream featuring Julius Fondem (Community Manager), Mike Kayatta (Game Director), and Simon Rozner (Principal Game Designer), who took a closer look at the new update and the roguelite game mode. If you missed it, you can rewatch it on their YouTube channel, HERE!
FBC: Firebreak is a three-player cooperative first-person shooter set inside The Oldest House. Still in lockdown after seven years, things have gotten desperate. You and your team are part of the Firebreakers, an adaptable response unit tasked with facing the most dangerous tasks as the siege with the Hiss wages on.
FBC: Firebreak is out now for PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store), Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5.
