Last night, Remedy announced that Control Ultimate Edition will be expanding across the Apple range, making the game playable on handheld devices as soon as next year.
The teaser was made on the developer's social media accounts, in which they stated that, "You will soon be able to enter the Oldest House on iPhone, iPad, and Apple Vision Pro alongside Mac. Play with a game controller, or tap into the action with touch controls. Discover a world unknown when Control arrives on these platforms in early 2026."
Remedy is one of several developers turning their attention to bringing a vast-sprawling AAA experience to Apple in recent months. Another notable move was made by IO Interactive, who brought Hitman World of Assassination to Apple platforms back in August. As a result, reviews of similar expansions provides the Finnish studio with clearer areas to focus, with one of them likely to be a closer look on how the game performs on each device, to ensure smooth running.
The reveal comes a year following Control Ultimate Edition's launch on Mac.
