If you're in London this October, you may want to check out MCM London Expo! On October 25th (Sunday), Petri Alanko will be taking part in a special talk describing his journey of scoring the Remedy Connected Universe.
If you're on this site, you'll likely already know that Alanko has been the incredible composer who has been scoring Remedy's adventures since Alan Wake back in 2010. Since then, he has created music for Death Rally (2011), Alan Wake's American Nightmare, Quantum Break, CrossFire X, Control, and Alan Wake 2. Though that is just a small snippet of his long-lasting and stunning career.
On the Saturday, he will be taking to the Live Stage for a conversation with Lewis Packwood (GamesIndustry.biz Features Editor) as they explore his creative process. If you're unable to make it, panels and talks are often uploaded on YouTube following the event.
Described as “the biggest Pop Culture celebration in the UK”, MCM London Expo will be held between 24th - 26th October 2025. The three-day event is dedicated to nerd culture, spotlighting anime, video games, TV, and film. Returning once again to the ExCeL in central London, the exhibition centre is situated next door to the DLR and Elizabeth Line, and is surrounded by hotels for attendees. That's not the only Remedy-related activity taking part that weekend. Amelia Rose Blaire who starred in Quantum Break as university campaigner, Amy Ferrero will be in attendance and taking part in signings and photoshoots.
Plus, there is a nerdy gathering hosted by the UK Remedyverse Community! They are getting into the Halloween spirit with a spooky Yötön Yö themed meet. Cosplay is not mandatory but appreciated. (Though no word yet on the human sacrificing.) They will be meeting at 12pm on October 25th “under the shelter on the green” directly in front of the entrance. For those travelling for the first time, don't worry, you can't miss it.
