With less than twenty-four hours until FBC: Firebreak launches, Remedy's Community Manager, Julius Fondem, has published a new Steam article breaking down what players can expect in the Deluxe Edition.
The FBC: Firebreak Deluxe Edition will be sold as part of a combined bundle with the base game, or a separate $10 add-on later down the line. For that $10 extra, Firebreakers will be able to unlock a number of new cosmetics and voice packs, allowing you to add further customisation to your character.
The bundle has been built intentionally to not feature game-specific content or extra Jobs, an approach the developers intentionally approached the project with, to avoid the feeling of FOMO (fear of missing out). Instead, the items lean into the multiplayer aspect of the game, providing players to create their own OC bureaucrat.
The Deluxe Edition features “The Firestarter” Premium Voice Pack, “The Pencil Pusher” Premium Voice Pack, Firestarter Armour Set, Apex Revision (Helmet, Body Armour, Gloves), Scorched Remnant Double-Barrel Shotgun Skin, Golden Firebreak Spray and the Firestarter Classified Requisition (the latter being a bundle all on its own.)
In their April Developer Update, Remedy stated all paid-DLC will be cosmetics, and optional for the player. At this moment, the focus is entirely on the game's launch, but we have the feeling that future DLC will be released in bundles mirroring the Firestarter Classified Requisitions.
So what does the Firestarter Classified Requisition bundle contain? The pack features 36 Premium Cosmetics, including 4 Armour Sets (helmet, body armour, and gloves), as well as 12 Gun Skins, and 12 Sprays. All items found under the Requisitions menu, along with in-game unlockables.
