Tonight, Fellow Traveller is kicking off their seventh annual LudoNarraCon event, celebrating the craft of designing narrative for video games. The event is spread over Thursday and Friday, with an accompanying sale on Steam. The schedule has also now officially gone live, so we can share the timings.
Later this evening, Remedy's Creative Director, Sam Lake, will be taking part in a fireside chat alongside games journalist, Lucy James. As previously mentioned in our announcement post, while this isn't the only fireside chat that Sam will be taking part in this year, entry for LudoNarraCon is free and entirely virtual, making it the most accessible listed. The talk will go live at 4pm PDT / 12am BST / 2am EEST.

Sam isn't the only familiar name listed. There are a number of other developers taking part who also have worked on Remedy titles!
Kicking off the event is a panel (10am PDT / 6pm BST) on “Very Different Tales - How Game Stories Change By Genre & Medium” with some names you may be familiar with. Richard Rouse III (Studio Creative Director at FarBridge) and Deborah Hendersen (Studio Lead for Microsoft Global Publishing) both worked on Quantum Break, and joins Jesse Schell on the panel,
On the second day, there's a panel featuring Camerin Wild, a writer, and inclusion consultant at Sweet Baby Inc, who worked on Alan Wake 2 and is now focused on a yet unannounced Remedy project. Camerin is part of the segment, “The Secret Handshake: How Writers and Players Build Game Worlds Together” with Maxine Sophia Wolff, Pelo Brisson-Tsavoussis, and James Wright. That talk will go live at 1pm PDT (9pm BST).
