Today is the fifteen anniversary of Alan Wake, but it's also the day that the embargo has lifted on the first hands-on preview for FBC: Firebreak.
At the end of April, Remedy started to fly select press and influencers over to their headquarters in Finland for a behind closed doors three-hour demo of the game. While previews were embargoed until today, attendees had been free to post photos from the studio's themed gaming setup. For the occasion, the area had been decorated to mirror The Oldest House, complete with a large FBC seal, costume-filled lockers, oil paintings and more. Each section had been filled with sticky notes, though the infestation seems to be under control with a glimpse of a full-sized buddy shower from the upcoming game in one of the influencer sneak peeks. But that's all we saw' until this afternoon, we didn't know what happened behind those closed doors.
The FBC Firebreak team can take a deep breath, the hands on previews have been incredibly positive, with players loving the style, the Jobs (of which there will be five at launch!), and the chaotic gameplay that's drawing even multiplayer-sceptics to title.
