If you've pre-ordered or plan to buy Alan Wake 2 on the Epic Store (PC) within the first year, you will also automatically unlock some extra goodies for your upcoming Fortnite session.
A few days ago, we talked about the latest collaboration between Remedy Entertainment and Epic Games, which would see the tortured tweed-wearing writer come to Fortnite as a new character alongside some extra melee weapons and items. Today, the developers have shared that if you purchase the game on PC (via the Epic Store), you will automatically unlock the Alan Wake Outfit and Alan's Messenger Bag Back Bling. (If you already have another platform in mind, the pack will be available at a later date.)
Alongside the announcements, Epic Games has posted an FAQ about the unlocks, including how the outfit will be available on any Fortnite platform linked to your account and alternatives for those who have already purchased the hero (you will receive 1200 V Bucks).
The end date is slightly interesting to us, as we've seen games in the past (including Control) come to Steam a year after being a PC exclusive to the Epic Games Store. Of course, whether Alan will be exploring other storefronts is purely just speculation. There have been no comments about future plans at the moment.
