PlayStation Showcase Provides First Trailer For Alan Wake Remastered

Following the announcement of Alan Wake Remastered earlier in the week, all eyes were on the upcoming PlayStation Showcase and it did not disappoint!

A ninety-second trailer for the remaster was featured in the middle of the show and gave the community the first glimpse at some of the changes and improvements due to feature.

Along with the first trailer, we also got a confirmation on that launch date! Recent rumours were correct, placing the title's launch on October 5th. Missed it? Catch the trailer below!

So what do we know about the Remastered edition so far? Remedy has promised "richer environmental details and enhanced character models". The game will also come with both DLC packs, The Signal and The Writer, along with new audio commentary by Sam Lake. It will also incorporate Xbox Smart Delivery and Dual Sense haptics, for your console moving or feedback needs.

As Alan Wake is debuting on the console this October, there are more details on what the PlayStation version has to offer. On the PS5, the game runs at 4K at 60fps. The PS4 Pro offers a choice of "Performance" (60fps) and "Quality" (4K at 30fps) modes and PS4 version runs at 30fps. You can read more about the game and upgrades, HERE
