Watch Remedy's AWE Broadcast Here!
[15 Minute Preview, Art Book Announcement, Assist Update]

On Thursday, Remedy revealed the first look at Control's highly anticipated DLC pack, AWE, with a fifteen-minute glimpse into the start of the adventure. Along with the gameplay debut, the developers also talked more about an upcoming update coming to Control on August 27th which will allow increased customisation especially in the game's combat

Hosted by Vida Starčević (Remedy's Community Manager), the broadcast featured special guests, Sam Lake (Control's Creative Director) and Mikael Kasurinen (Control's Game Director).

In the upcoming adventure, Jesse is called into action as a dangerous new creature threatens the FBC. The entity is housed in an abandoned Investigations Sector, where the Bureau stored all of its most dangerous and now free objects. In her journey, she must learn more about the new creature and in doing so delve into the Bureau's past cases, including one set in Bright Falls. (Highlight to see more!)

At the start of the year, developers at the studio made the move to work from home, as part of the international effort to reduce the spread of Covid-19. The precautions also extended to the studio's livestreams, with their latest broadcast marking the studio's fifth remotely-held show. With the developers taking a seasonal approach to the livestreams, Vida has teased that their broadcasts will continue this autumn.

There will also be a Steam Q&A with Mikael on August 18th, so if you're a PC gamer and you want to learn more about Jesse's latest adventure, keep an eye out for details about that event coming soon!

In case you missed the broadcast, you can catch it in full below or on the Remedy Twitch channel, HERE!
