There are places in our world where fiction and dreams can come true.

Bright Falls Miniseries

Prior to Alan Wake's release, Microsoft created a television called Bright Falls, which takes place before the events of the game. The series stars Jake Fischer played by Christopher Forsyth, who travels to Bright Falls to do an article about Emil Hartman, a therapist, the founder of Cauldron Lake Lodge, and the author of "The Creator's Dilemma".

Bright Falls hides a secret, it's not the quaint, picturesque town that Jake imagined but rather a dangerous place which transforms people into monsters.

There are six episodes in total lasting five minutes each. If you've watch the series, I highly recommend watching "What The Bright Falls" by Machinima which dissects the episodes and finds all the interesting hidden messages, symbolism and details that you may have missed.
