Days ago, Commander Fontaine received a tip via a paid mole that Global Risk was planning a strike in Azharzia to detain me. Fontaine suggested I hire a body double, then told her mole to have Global Risk bag the fake "Steiner" and leave Azkharzia, hoping it would buy us enough time to complete our work with the Catalyst. But as she was off-site at the time, the Commander relied on me to execute her plan.
I chose to alter that plan. I hired a local rebel to pose as myself, and more to launch an ambush. I'm happy to report that the ambush was mostly successful. We destroyed Global Risk's transports and captured one soldier. However, three escaped, and on top of this I have received reports of possible sightings of ARES Mercenaries...
We're close to a breakthrough and need to ensure that the rest of the operation goes smoothly.
