Sam Lake Talks to Polygon

I love Polygon. They have some amazing articles from exploring the life of Rob Wiethoff after Red Dead Redemption, to the origins of XBOX Live. Every piece posted on the site explores the topic in depth, and they're no different with Quantum Break. During E3, they definitely did the best job of covering the title from articles to live interviews and even a mini documentary. Yesterday, they interviewed Sam Lake about Remedy's upcoming title.

Except they didn't just cover the topic, and they didn't trim down the interview.

The interview they posted online is a lengthy video which lasts over 30 minutes, and explores Remedy's previous titles as well as what fans can look forward to in Quantum Break and also a possible Alan Wake 2...

Sam Lake Talks to GameInformer

Today GameInformer uploaded an interview with Remedy's Creative Director, Sam Lake, in which they talk about Quantum Break as well as the benefits and challenges of working with the XBOX One.

It's an interesting interview which also explores some new topics and focuses more on the game's antagonist, Paul Serene:
“We want to make even the bad guy a deep, complex character that you will see different sides of,” Lake says. “You will understand why he’s doing what he’s doing. At the same time, the junction moment is just one gameplay scene, and the glimpses you see can be approached in two different ways. They are fragments. You are learning about certain things, but all options have both positive and negative from the bad guy’s perspective, but also from the heroes’ perspective.”

XBOX One Line Up Trailer with Quantum Break Gameplay

To celebrate the launch of the XBOX One, GameTrailers had an hour long broadcast leading up to the release of the console in America. They had some music performances, interviews, but for Remedy fans the most exciting part was definitely a trailer that was shown. While it wasn't solely focusing on Quantum Break it did have some new material including never before seen gameplay footage.
