There are places in our world where fiction and dreams can come true.

12th June 2016
Nordic Games "Making of Quantum Break" Presentation

At Nordic Games 2016, Thomas Puha (Communications Director at Remedy) and Greg Louden (Senior Narrative Designer) took to the stage to delve deeper into the making and then marketing of Quantum Break.

The fifty-minute-long presentation has been posted to YouTube in full and you can check it out right now.

During the presentation they also reveal new prototype footage, showing Remedy's early experiments with time travel and how it can be used to interact with the environments in addition to a selection of new concept artwork. If you're a nerd like me, get ready to pause to read artwork annotations.

Official Description:

Remedy Entertainment has been making games for 20 years, and it has always played around with live action in its games. Our latest game Quantum Break is a third-person cinematic action game that includes a full live action show that is shaped by the player’s actions. Quantum Break was by far the biggest production Remedy has done, and we worked hard to break new ground in story-telling in video games. The presentation will go through Remedy’s four year development cycle and describe the challenges of creating a brand new IP for a brand new platform – all the while the development team doubled in size from our previous game.
