While Remedy may not be working on the sequel to Alan Wake just yet, fans have been busy creating incredible pieces of fan art in tribute to the games. This post is focusing on the amazing work by Zowie, also known by the username zowie-granz.
If you follow the Alan Wake tag on Tumblr, you may already have seen some of Zowie's artwork. Each piece is captivating with a distinctive art style which mirrors Alan Wake's darker tones perfectly. What I particularly love about the art is the amount of realism, not just with the detailed model drawings but also the raw emotions they show.
Each piece is dark, not just in colour, but in tone, and the centre image especially, explores bravely the devastating effects of the Dark Presence. But each piece is also beautiful, it's clear that a lot of thought has gone into not just capturing the character correctly but also creating a story behind it.
