Possible Quantum Break Details at VGX

Microsoft recently teased in an interview with Polygon that fans could be hearing more details about Quantum Break in the next few weeks, and mentioned that VGX might be the perfect place to reveal them.

In the interview, Phil Spencer (Corporate Vice President at Microsoft Studios) stated:
"We did a pretty deep dive [on Quantum Break] last week while we were in Europe, and I'm feeling really good about the creative. It may be before the end of the year when we talk more about what the story and the gameplay is... We have a pretty good piece that I'm trying to coerce people into putting out before the end of the year ... showing the full Remedy vision, with Sam [Lake] giving a pretty good description of how the game works with some new gameplay footage.

"Maybe VGX would be a good place for that."

While it's not confirmed that Remedy will definitely be at the show, we do now know that they're approaching the stage where they are able to show off sections of the game and talk more in depth about it. I'll keep you updated with any announcements Remedy makes.

VGX, formally known as VGA, is an annual award ceremony focusing on the video game industry. With its new name comes a list of new additions; there will be new gameplay footage from upcoming titles, developer panels and 1-1 interviews. It's an cool new change, and it's going to be interesting to see how well it turns out! The show goes live on 7th December 2013 starting at 6:00 PM ET / 3:00 PM PT, and will last for three hours. The event will be broadcast live across a number of platforms including XBOX360, XBOX One and PS3.
